Iced Earth - Dystopia ( 2011 )

Iced Earth made a very good album (at last) and Stu Block on vocals proved that he was the right person for the job after Barlow's departure...
Especially the Iced Earth fans will be very happy with the great heavy metal presented in this album. Interesting lyrics and some memorable songs. There must have been written a thousand reviews about this album and I had my preservations about making one as I am not a huge Iced Earth fan (not even a small one!) but I like it. The reason I wrote some words is the official video of the song "Dystopia".

It could be a video of a band called "Total Poseurs" (you can pick the song title)!! If the album wasn't any good it would be ridiculous!

I'm a HUGE Iced Earth fan and I think this album is considered "good enough"... coz I had some high expectations even though I know no one can really replace a guy like Barlow. But... this is probably the best way they could do it.

however... I miss the good old Iced Earth albums Dark Saga, Something wicked, burnt offerings and horror show...

Will for sure buy the new CD though

For me Dark Saga is always their best album but I also think that Barlow is overrated.
