Threshold - March Of Progress

After many dramatic events Threshold are once again on a march of progress, as declares their new album...
The "March Of Progress" album is an initiation of a new era for Threshold as Damian Wilson returned to the band in 2007, as he had been the band's singer in the past releasing 2 albums ("Wounded Land - 1993", "Extinct Instinct - 1997"). Their last album before this one was in 2007 ("Dead Reckoning") with singer Andrew "Mac" McDermott, who left the band that year and eventually died in 2011 of kidney failure. So 15 years after their last album with Damian Wilson, Threshold release "March of Progress".
The result is maybe one of the best progressive metal albums of the year (!). The successful Threshold recipe with Damian Wilson's vocals have created some great songs and progressive ideas. It is worth mentioning the songs "Return Of The Thought Police", "Liberty, Complacency, Dependency", "That's Why We Come" and of course the epic "The Hours", songs that define modern progressive metal. Another positive is the great lyrics that also make political statements (as Threshold always did). You cannot be bored hearing this. Thumbs up for Threshold as they make the progressive metal scene proud...
