Karnivool are an Australian progressive/alternative metal band formed in Perth in 1997.
The group currently consists of Ian Kenny on vocals, Drew Goddard and Mark Hosking on guitar, Jon Stockman on bass guitar, and Steve Judd on drums. This great song is from the album "Sound Awake" that developed a more progressive rock/metal sound to the band. This sound is very similar to what Tool were playing in the "Lateralus" album, a sound in the borderline between progressive and alternative rock/metal.
