Although some of the band's members play or have previously played in black metal bands like Enslaved and Gorgoroth, Audrey Horne is a melodic heavy hard rock band.
This is the 4th album (released in February 2013) of this Norwegian band and from my point of view it's the best album of the band until now. There is an exploding opener ("Redemption Blues") and lots of great songs like "Yougnblood" or "The Open Sea" that make this album exciting and the exact opposite of boredom. It is solid, with good work on the guitar riffs and solos and the only argument I always have with this band is the flatness of the vocals. A little more theatricality and freedom in the lines would really give them a boost. Nevertheless, this is a really good heavy rock album that many rockers will enjoy.
