Rush - Clockwork Angels

This is how a rock /metal progressive masterpiece is made and instantly becomes a classic album.
Rush released their first album back in 1974 and "Clockwork Angels" is their 20th studio album released on the 12th of June 2012. Paradoxically, this is their first concept album in all these years. There are 12 songs (like the symbols on a clock) and the lyrics are talking about religion, society issues, migration. Rush try to pass on their own philosophy for how the world should be. Depending on the song, music varies from rock to metal (always progressive) and the sound is crystal clear with Geddy lee's vocals not giving away his age. It is extremely possible that this is the progressive album of the year. This is the music of the Universe...

All is for the best
Believe in what we’re told
Blind men in the market
Buying what we’re sold
Believe in what we’re told
Until our final breath
While our loving Watchmaker
Loves us all to death
