"Apocalyptic Love" is not as good as the debut self titled album but still it contains some great hard rock songs. Closer to a Guns'n'Roses style, the drawbacks are a small lack of variety and the fact that most songs are destined to be radio hits and the result is rather light hard rock songs for all kinds of listeners. Nevertheless there are too many good riffs in there and Myles Kennedy once again puts on an excellent performance and seems to have great chemistry with Slash's style of playing. Moreover, the greatest songs seem to be at the end of the album but the fact is that (I think) After some years nobody will remember most of the tracks of the album. Enjoy it while it's still hot!!!
