Kill Devil Hill is a rock band founded in 2011 by drummer Vinny Appice (ex-Black Sabbath and Dio) bassist Rex Brown (ex-Pantera), guitarist Mark Zavon (ex W.A.S.P.) and vocalist Jason "Dewey" Bragg (ex Pissing Razors).
The band is named for the town of Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina. Their self-titled debut album is a dark heavy metal alloy of Black Sabbath influence and modern heavy metal sound. The high quality of all the musicians have the result of great sound, high amount of technique in the performance and new ideas. Definitely one of the pleasant surprises of this years metal releases.
